Magic Coverings Material Achieves High A2-s1, d0 Fire Classification in EU Standard Testing
PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC – A new Reaction to Fire Classification Report, PK-25-079, was issued on 12th June 2025 by the Institut pro testování a certifikaci (ITC), Fire Technical Laboratory in the Czech Republic. The report grants the Magic Coverings – Modified Clay Material a highly favorable fire safety rating.
The product, which is defined as a type of decorative cladding material, was classified according to ČSN EN 13501-1:2019.
Classification Details
The material confirmed a reaction to fire classification of A2 – s1, d0. This rating signifies:
- A2: Strong performance in fire behavior.
- s1: Very limited smoke production (the highest rating for smoke).
- d0: No formation of flaming droplets or particles (the highest rating for burning debris).
The classification was requested by the applicant, Magic Stone Green Building Material Co., Ltd., based in Hong Kong, China.

Conditions of Use
The validity of this classification is subject to specific end-use conditions. The materials must be mechanically fixed / glued using a non-combustible adhesive (e.g., cement-based) to a substrate (A1 or A2-s1, d0) with a density of at least 525 kg/m³.
